Over the Years
Graduated: Art Foundation
Studied a range of art and design practices, including photography, ceramics, graphic design and print making at Hertford Regional College.
Job: Marketing Assitant
Part time role in a university’s students’ union, while I completed the last semester of studies. It included setting up social media channels, changing their website, promoting their support services and events, and much more besides.
Graduated: BA (Hons) Visual Communication
Studied Visual Communication at University of Derby. Had a love for print making, and won an award for a piece titled “Indian Army” – the piece was featured in a gallery in Leicester Art Gallery.
Job: Communications Assistant
Worked in a local government’s leisure department to promote their services (such as sports centres, children’s activities and local arts groups).
Graduated: CIM Certificate in Marketing
This level-4, internationally recognised course was taught at University of Derby’s Enterprise Centre. It taught me both practical marketing skills and academic knowledge.
Job: Marketing Officer – Website
I moved internally within the organisation into this role, where I managed the council’s website. I worked closely with key stakeholders across the council and with the web development team. I also managed the council’s social media channels.
Job: Marketing Executive
Focused on both design and digital marketing for a FTSE 100 B2B company. The role included creating brochures, infographics, email templates, large-scale graphics, advertisements, as well as managing digital channels such as an intranet, website and email campaigns.
Centralised a portfolio of about 10 websites onto one server, making improvements to them all, ensuring they complied with W3C guidelines, and improved their SEO. I also set up and launched several websites using WordPress.
After years of dabbling with freelance work, as well as building skills, experience and knowledge for different sectors and audiences, I launched ALL:Digital.
